Kneale’s started with me working hands-on, taking on jobs for local homeowners and building the business one project at a time.

Being on the tools taught me what matters to customers — turning up, communicating properly, taking pride in the work and leaving a home with a result you’re proud to put your name to.

As the business has grown, so has the type of work we take on. Today, I work alongside trusted trades to coordinate painting and decorating, joinery, plastering and larger home improvement projects, giving customers one point of contact rather than having to organise several different trades themselves.

I’m still personally involved in the projects we take on, from the initial enquiry and site visit through to organising the work and making sure the finished result meets the standard I want associated with Kneale’s.

My aim is simple: keep building Kneale’s into a home improvement company people across Wigan and the surrounding areas can genuinely rely on.
